What drives you crazy? Think of something or a few things that drives you crazy. Explain why they drive your crazy? How do you react? Use your imagination. Try and fill half a page to three fourths of the page. You can write or type it to nicholas.iliopoulos@granderie.ca If you want me to post it let me know.
And use your personal voice! You are funny! Try and use that in your writing!
Here is a start to one.
My Two Sisters That Drive Me Crazy....But I Can't Live Without
You want to know what drives me crazy? Are you sure you want to know? Well I will tell you. Grab some tea and put your feet up. Maybe you can agree with me or I can persuade you to agree with me. But what drives me crazy... Are my two sisters!
They are always ganging up on me and doing things together without me. And just the other day, I went to brush my teeth and their makeup was all over my tooth brush! Do you know how annoying that is? And the two of them when they start sharing secrets are pretty much speaking another language. I feel left out because I can't understand a word they are saying. And they always get to share clothes. And their clothes never fit me. So I feel left out. You know how Kevin from Home Alone felt. Yeah that movie. Well that is how I feel! Except I do not have a cool tarantula like him!
And my mom and dad never let me do anything by myself. They always make my sisters come along. I want to play soccer with my friends and all they want to do is watch Taylor Swift youtube videos! So annoying! But the worst part is that I actually like Taylor Swift secretly! They just don't ask me to watch the videos with them.
And last year we got a new German Shepherd dog and my parents would not let me name her. But you know who got to name her? Yep, you guessed it! They called her Sasha. I wanted to name her Fluff but I never get what I want.
Last Part.... Read your writing out loud or to someone to see if it makes sense. Or read it to the wall and pretend you are reading it to your friend Wall-E! Sometimes you can pick up on little mistakes. It is a good habit to use throughout school. I still do it! Wall-E and I go way back! It's like not checking over your work after a quiz. Always try that!
