Log into I Know It Math https://www.iknowit.comfound here.  The class code is ilio and the username is your first name and your last name initial. Your password is potter.  Log into your account and complete the assigned work on fractions.  There are 2 sets of 15 questions each dealing with Fractions.

Fractions Focus:

Using a white piece of paper, pencil crayons and a ruler answer the following questions.  You may use pictures numbers and words.

Try and answer the following Fractions Word Problems.

1. Draw 1/3 of 12.  Hint you can circle or colour one out of three out of 12.

2.  Damien has 12 goldfish as pets.  Julia has 12 goldfish also as pets.  And Kaiden Sc has 6 guppies.  What is the fraction of the guppies that Kaiden Sc has?  

3.  A pack of smarties has 30 in them.  11 are red, 3 yellow, 6 green, 5 blue and the rest are pink.  What is the fraction of the pink smarties?

4. Colour in half of 20 of something.

5.  Caleb collects snake stickers!  I know big surprise there!  But he has 22 snake stickers.  Simeon collects Rhino stickers.  Which I think is pretty cool!  The two boys have 30 stickers in total.  What is the fraction of Simeon’s Rhino stickers?

6. It’s Pizza night at Memphis’ house.  He wants to make two pizzas.  He really likes pineapple and wants to put pineapple on his pizza.  Draw two different pizzas with pineapple and slice them up.  Write the fraction of the pineapple on each pizza.
